Appeals I Commissionerate

• Appeals I Commissionerate is the First Appellate Authority for taxpayers belonging to the jurisdictions of Bengaluru East and South Commissionerates.
• Appeals against Orders issued by the respective Additional/Joint Commissioners are decided by the Commissioner Appeals and the Orders by the Assistant/Deputy Commissioners and Superintendents are decided by the Additional/Joint Commissioner (Appeals).
• The Commissioner (Appeals) also handles the appeals relating to legacy (Central Excise & Service Tax) matters of East and South Commissionerates.
